    The orbit method solution for the deformed three coupled scalar fields

    In this work, we present a deformed solutions starting from systems of three coupled scalar fields with super-potential W(ϕ1,ϕ2,ϕ3)W(\phi_1, \phi_2, \phi_3) by orbit method. First, we deform the corresponding super-potential and obtain defect solutions. It is shown that how to construct new models altogether with its defect solutions in terms of the non-deformed model. Therefore, we draw the graph of super-potential and different fields in terms of x.x. So we observe that the graphs for deformed and non - deformed cases are changed by the scale.Comment: 9 pages, 5 figure

    We analyze the equation of motion for a particle in the double-well potential. We find the symmetries through Lie\u27s method of group analysis. In the corresponding quantum mechanical case, the method of spectrum-generating su(1,1) algebra is used to find energy levels as solutions of the Schrödinger equation with double-well potential, without solving the equation explicitly. Finally, we discuss the symmetry version of the double-well potential with the vector-field formalism.Analiziramo jednadžbu gibanja čestice u dvojamnom potencijalu. Lieovom metodom grupne analize nalazimo simetrije. U odgovarajućem kvantno-mehaničkom slučaju primjenjujemo algebru SU(1, 1) kojom se izvode spektri, radi dobivanja energija stanja za Schrödingerovu jednadžbu s dvojamnim potencijalom, bez njenog izravnog rješavanja. Na kraju raspravljamo simetričnu inačicu dvojamnog potencijala u okviru formalizma vektorskog polja

    Reconstructing a String-Inspired Non-minimally Coupled Quintom Model

    Motivated by the recent work of Zhang and Chen \cite{bin}, we generalize their work to the non-minimally coupled case. We consider a quintom model of dark energy with a single scalar field TT given by a Lagrangian which inspired by tachyonic Lagrangian in string theory. We consider non-minimal coupling of tachyon field to the scalar curvature, then we reconstruct this model in the light of three forms of parametrization for dynamical dark energy.Comment: 12 pages, 5 figure

    The effect of higher derivative correction on η/s\eta /s and conductivities in STU model

    In this paper we study the ratio of shear viscosity to entropy, electrical and thermal conductivities for the R-charged black hole in STU model. We generalize previous works to the case of a black hole with three different charges. Actually we use diffusion constant to obtain ratio of shear viscosity to entropy. By applying the thermodynamical stability we recover previous results. Also we investigate the effect of higher derivative corrections.Comment: revised versio

    Breast-Lesion Characterization using Textural Features of Quantitative Ultrasound Parametric Maps

This study evaluated, for the first time, the efficacy of quantitative ultrasound (QUS) spectral parametric maps in conjunction with texture-analysis techniques to differentiate non-invasively benign versus malignant breast lesions. Ultrasound B-mode images and radiofrequency data were acquired from 78 patients with suspicious breast lesions. QUS spectral-analysis techniques were performed on radiofrequency data to generate parametric maps of mid-band fit, spectral slope, spectral intercept, spacing among scatterers, average scatterer diameter, and average acoustic concentration. Texture-analysis techniques were applied to determine imaging biomarkers consisting of mean, contrast, correlation, energy and homogeneity features of parametric maps. These biomarkers were utilized to classify benign versus malignant lesions with leave-one-patient-out cross-validation. Results were compared to histopathology findings from biopsy specimens and radiology reports on MR images to evaluate the accuracy of technique. Among the biomarkers investigated, one mean-value parameter and 14 textural features demonstrated statistically significant differences (p < 0.05) between the two lesion types. A hybrid biomarker developed using a stepwise feature selection method could classify the legions with a sensitivity of 96%, a specificity of 84%, and an AUC of 0.97.
